This whole situation is sssooooo dumb. Doing a remake of Snow White was a bad idea to begin with, no one was asking for one. But how difficult would it have been just to do a straight-forward, non-controversial version? I don't understand how a huge entertainment company like Disney (that theoretically understands the risks of the movie business) could have looked at the project details before Snow White's production started and thought "Yeah, this looks good. Lets commit a couple hundred million dollars to making this movie."

You know how when you look on some attractive girl's social media page and it's full of jealous nitpicking foids? They were basically just trying to exploit that psychology. The :marseymid: self-insert defeats the beautiful threat to her relationship.

Women and gays are in charge and they're in charge because they're nepo babies. That's why they keep making horrible casting decisions and no one gets fired.

and why there's zero creativity or artistic merit in anything they've produced for ages

they stopped hiring artists and started hiring "artists" who went to film school

I think if they'd done it well then it would've done well

The CGI dwarves are a big turnoff, every time you see them it breaks all sense of immersion

changing the story takes away the point of doing a remake, people are sick of "X with a woke twist"

and brown washing the main character when she's called Snow fricking White was never a good idea

Disney knew all this, they just thought they could sacrifice just a little bit more of their brand power to push it through

Well it turns out they've pretty much run themselves dry on that
