i think its bc it takes place in the middle ages, and so they wanted to show how crude and simplistic her mideval swivvel chair is by having it make noise. You cant be sure though, and thats part of the magic. The whole soundtrack is very dynaimic, when its not filling your heart with joy during the singalongs, the subtle sounds during dialogue scenes accentuate the subtext of whats on screen. I wouldnt be surprised if the score isnt nominated for best Soundtrack/sound effects.

The first WW movie was a really well-executed example of modern superhero movies (which might be darning with faint praise, but it's a type of entertainment product that has a large market, even if of dubious artistic quality).
The second WW movie was terrible on almost every level.
The essential appeal of any superhero story is violent power fantasy. The artistry, such as it is, lies in the stylization, contextualization, scale, and scope of the violent conflict. It's possible to overlay some other kind of parallel moral or psychological conflict, but the essential story has to be one of physical conquest and defeat, either of the hero or the villain depending on whether it's a tragic story arc.
Superhero media that forgets this central tenet becomes REALLY bad, really fast, because the whole premise of people wearing underpants outside of their clothes etc just turns any attempt at deep human drama or romance preposterous. You can have romantic or dramatic elements in a superhero story, as complications to the central power struggle, but not the other way around, as WW84 tried to do. Also, it was just bad and stupid.

How could a cinematic masterpiece like this flop at the box office?!
Like most of these "woke flops", it turns out that the culfure war bullshit is just window dressing to get clicks and/or votes, and the movies flop because theyre just shit movies. Or perform well, when theyre good movies.
You know, I think disney isnt completely r-slurred in going for live-action remakes of their old "classics". If youre scraping the barrel of ideas that badly that you drag those out again, ive-action is probably the best path forward to get some freshness out of it. Doing a cartoon bersion again would be objectively a worse idea.
So whats baffling is that they then go so cheap on the effects every time. They must've realised that it kills the movie by now, and disney is producing far too many flops (and seriously devaluing their brand) one after the other, that i cant believe its just for tax write-offs or to keep copyrights.
