I definitetly won't forget it. The last 30 minutes of that movie were legit the most pain I even felt at a movie theatre. I was screaming "END, END, ENNNNNND" the entire time. I do think it was because I was tired and thought the movie would end at the Rata Alada capture, and then it went on. And on. And on. And on.
Also, Riddler was pure cringe in the last 30 minutes.
You could tell they shoehorned the last 30 minutes in to appease the cape shit audience. The first 2 hours were pretty good since they played it more as a noir.
yeah everyone I went to see it with were saying how much they loved Paul Dano in it and he was my least favorite part, especially at the end when he goes incel jan 6 mass shooter osama
The music really annoyed me. But, I think that's because they kept playing "Something in the Way" and I've always hated that song. I also didn't care for Catwoman. I did like what's his face as Batman though

Honestly it was good but disappointing. The whole movie up to the climax was more a mystery movie than an action film. Then it completely switched gears.
They also spent a lot of time building up the idea that Riddler was a mirror image of Batman who also wanted to fight corruption and injustice, but was willing to kill to do so. He also brought up the idea that Batman was part of the system of corruption and inequality rather than a solution. Bruce had immense wealth and only ever "helped" the city by beating up criminals, so there's a point to be made that while Riddler was willing to kill his motives might actually be more virtuous.
Then they destroyed all that in the last 30 minutes or so cause capeshit's gonna capeshit.

I liked when he pounded that guy's face in off camera. You knew that guy had orbital and jaw fractures after that beating.

Yes. Although I do like how the villian continually played Batman but it was drawn out too long. Also Batman is bullet proof in this one

he was getting shot with AKs on full auto and it wasn't even pushing him back or causing him to stagger
