That and he's spending us into financial ruin. I cringe at ever new, multi-million dollar announcement designed to lift people out of poverty or fix something the libs broke. It will be 50% wasted on inefficiency and government bloat. The number of government employees has increased 40% since he took office in 2015 and somehow I really doubt any gov. jobs took pay cuts during that time. He's such an arrogant moron, underqualified and surrounded by yes-men. If he wears the right costume or mask maybe we'll believe he's actually got the ideas & plans to put us on the road to success.

So 2008 world financial crisis happened, but it was getting better until 2015 when sock boy got elected and immediately signaled the oil and gas industry was going to be cut down. Then COVID gave him the cover to execute a massive wealth consolidation but he dipped too far and tanked the economy, so in order to avoid a total crash and unwilling to enact austerity policies the only solution was to prop up the remaining succesful industry, real estate.
So they artificially inflated GDP by importing literal millions of people in a very short span causing real GDP per capita to dip, recover slightly, and now we've had 9 consecutive quarters of decline in GDP per capita, everything is fricked, and we have 10 months before the next election so shit's only going to get worse.

There's a lot of people who claim they don't like him but support him because the other guy is a conservative and they've been fear mongered into compliance, but a good chunk of them are coping because they really do support his policies ideologically.
There's a much smaller number of people who are vocal about agreeing with his policies, and a solid base of upper middle class voters who made a lot due to his policies but are too polite to acknowledge they're voting to protect their real estate investments.

The Cons haven't exactly taken a strong stance against it because surprise surprise, they also benefited greatly from it as well. It's a class issue, not a left vs right issue.
