Canadians of rdrama: Defend your nationhood

I hate Trump, but what is even the point of you guys being a separate country anymore? You have no culture of your own, and your country is rapidly shedding itself of any remaining shred of national identity. You are nothing but a poorer, less free, and even more cucked to heck version of the US. Is the average Canadian even proud of being Canadian or do they just pride themselves as being a more cucked version of Americans? I bet once this admin is finished, they'd be overall happier as Americans except for maybe the Quebecois.

I wanna see a real justification for why you are better off not a 51st state. You have my ears because Im trying to see what Im missing here as to what makes your country's existence not near-redundant.
