The main weakness of ebooks is that there is a weaker sense of progression. This does not matter much for fiction, but for a textbook it can feel a little torturous.

Also jumping back is a pain. On kindle especially. I never learned the bookmarks thing. Also when you are half asleep and realized you just went 2 pages ahead without consuming any of it it's like 2 slow pages back. Maybe new ones are faster
