Because attraction is basically an algorithm. There are moids who are innately keen to this algorithm and, like a clickbait YouTuber, can exploit it and snag girls that, on paper, are way out of their league. It's why you'll occasionally see young female nurses, lawyers, and teachers with deadbeat boyfriends who make way less than them (if they even have a job at all).
