Do you even realize how batshit r-slurred you sound right now? I genuinely want you to sit still staring at a wall for 30 seconds while you think about all the reasons this might be a bad idea. Upkongs are basically normally distributed: it's pretty easy to get 10 upkongs in 10 minutes, but getting 30 upkongs in 10 minutes is extremely rare. I think it's only happened to me a couple of times, like when a post about Marsey was at the top of /r/all. So imagine this: you make a high-quality, topical post and.... it gets treated the exact same as a low-effort Twitter ragebait post, multiple of which are posted at the same time. It doesn't matter if you're blocking /h/chudrama or not, because most regular users aren't and ceteris paribus they're going to see like 5 /h/chudrama posts for every regular post on the front page. The funny thing is you're probably going to read this criticism and go "Hrrrm, I know the solution, we need to further incentivize effortposts so people are forced to read about South Africa even more" instead of just removing the feature entirely.

Also, have you considered that some people might want to use /h/chudrama, but not have it be literally every post they see? Even if I was the type of person who finds anti-libtard memes from X, the everything app, from users called things like "Sir Doge of the Coin" funny, I still wouldn't support this feature. You know why? Because having literally every top post on the site effectively manually chosen by admins to the point where only two types of posts are allowed is a fricking r-slurred idea. Do you ever think about why anti-smoking governments tax cigarettes higher than other items, instead of massively subsidizing them but making sure they can only be sold in dedicated stores?
