It has been suggested that Shit Awards should stop returning coins once the target has a negative balance.

Argument in favor of this change:

• More realistic -- can't steal something that isn't there

• Better for economy -- debts on alts/banned unlikely to ever be repaid

• Separates currencies -- can't convert an unlimited amount on a single target

Arguments against this change:

• Paypig perk -- makes it easier to convert Marseybux to coins

• Award nerf -- greatly increases cost of taking someone negative

• Attacks increase -- people might change targets once they drain coins

If you closely follow !metashit happenings, you may remember that about 9 days ago sneedman's account was permanently banned "by request". But why?

I didn't want to post this before he came back because I really did think he killed himself, but now that he's back and I know he's alive and well I am comfortable sharing. He wrote a lengthy suicide note (or rather, a precursor teasing a future suicide note) before immediately deleting it, apparently having second thoughts, and then I guess he requested his account be banned for mental health reasons, or maybe out of shame.

I make my case that @peepeehands is a useless fricking jannie who doesn't know how to do his job and should not have exiling privileges if he keeps making the kind of decisions that frick over the hole that he is jannying, such as the fact that he is exiling good faith users who make decent posts in that hole such as myself.
