i think commies are dumb and so are magas ofc but darn authoritarian communism is so fricking cool. aesthetically, the people, they rocked. it's just modern communist supporters or really anyone who didnt do any actual killing in russia that are dumb. i had to make that specific qualifier because i find the old 20th century marxists who commited violence in the west to be gay and r-slurred

I don't understand why every time a woman expresses her fear of men, so many men take it as the woman hates men. I don't hate you. Not at all. I just fear you.

Why?

I fear men because I've been harassed and followed in broad daylight on a busy street and was literally no one intervened.

I fear men because I've been threatened with violence and r*pe. Exclusively by men.

I fear men because men perpetrate 90%+ of violent crimes against women. Men even perpetrate 90%+ of violent crimes against men.

I fear men because I was abused from age 7-17 by two adult male cousins. And when I finally brought it up at age 12, I was laughed at and the men were excused.

I fear men because if I don't say no forcefully enough, r*pe is my fault.

I fear men because if I say no forcefully enough, it might trigger anger and violence.

I fear men because I've been cornered on the bus and no one would help.

I fear men because of all of the angry, hateful, bitter things I've heard, seen and read on YouTube, Reddit, and social media in general.

I only skimmed it.

MAGA and leftist confluence through MAGA politicians is only an artifact of both existing on the fringes of neoliberal acceptance.

They are both targets of the “mainstream” because they are both threats to order. Hence the anti-FBI rhetoric.

Kinda beside the point—If either gained critical mass to have majority support or acquiescence, that pretense would be dropped because the institution would belong to them.

MAGA also dislikes capital because capital doesn’t like them because they introduce unneeded risk. Capital has decided that moderate republicans or democrats are the carts to hitch to for future stability.

Therefore MAGA calls for it to burn, but the leadership is more or less old conservatives that have slipped past the overton window and they really don’t know any new tricks. If capital comes back around, they’ll go running back.

Now the people who support them might have some potential, they’re disaffected and have legitimate economic and social concerns. A culturally sensitive messaging strategy by a leftist party worth a shit could turn that into a movement, because those economic and social concerns cut deep across the country between all ethnic groups. A skillful movement would be able to unite those concerns and build solidarity.

This ain’t it, though.
