The Rise of MAGA Communism

I only skimmed it.

MAGA and leftist confluence through MAGA politicians is only an artifact of both existing on the fringes of neoliberal acceptance.

They are both targets of the “mainstream” because they are both threats to order. Hence the anti-FBI rhetoric.

Kinda beside the point—If either gained critical mass to have majority support or acquiescence, that pretense would be dropped because the institution would belong to them.

MAGA also dislikes capital because capital doesn’t like them because they introduce unneeded risk. Capital has decided that moderate republicans or democrats are the carts to hitch to for future stability.

Therefore MAGA calls for it to burn, but the leadership is more or less old conservatives that have slipped past the overton window and they really don’t know any new tricks. If capital comes back around, they’ll go running back.

Now the people who support them might have some potential, they’re disaffected and have legitimate economic and social concerns. A culturally sensitive messaging strategy by a leftist party worth a shit could turn that into a movement, because those economic and social concerns cut deep across the country between all ethnic groups. A skillful movement would be able to unite those concerns and build solidarity.

This ain’t it, though.
