Generated from TLDR This:

At least 4.4 million people have received an updated Covid booster since the start of the month, according to data released Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

That number represents around 1.5% of people currently eligible to receive the shots in the U.S. The data does not include people who received updated Pfizer-BioNTech boosters in Idaho and Texas, the CDC said, so it is likely an underestimate.

The bivalent shots target both the original coronavirus strain and the currently circulating omicron subvariants BA.4 and BA.5.

That's nearly triple the number from the start of the month.

Nearly 80% of the U.S. population has received at least one shot of a primary Covid vaccine, and nearly 68% is considered fully vaccinated by the CDC, meaning they've gotten either one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or two shots of Pfizer's, Moderna's or Novavax's, which was authorized in July.

"Many people are certainly due for a booster and this comes at a critical time," he said. "

Wait I'm confused. I thought you need two boosters to be considered "fully vaccinated", or was that WHO. Or did the CDC change it again. Help!

Fully vaccinated is 2 shots but being 'up to date' is having your most recently recommend booster

You are up to date with your COVID-19 vaccines if you have completed a COVID-19 vaccine primary series and received the most recent booster dose recommended for you by CDC

Are you Fully Vaccinated for Air Travel to the United States?

You are considered fully vaccinated:

2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine

2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series

The cool thing about making a new definition is that it allows them to still require boosters in places like universities without moving the goal posts of 'fully vaccinated'.

They just say we require you to be up to date on COVID vaccinations and they're still following the (((science))) from the CDC.

I only have two, if I ever need 3 I'll just copypaste one of my vaccines on the record and change the date. No one is ever going to verify.

I was trying to get a new contract a while back and they wanted me to carry workers comp insurance, which is incredibly expensive. I explained to the company that I wasn't planning on bringing any employees on site and it was just me, and that workers comp generally won't ever cover corporate partners so the insurance was essentially useless, but they insisted on it, so I did exactly what you described and just photoshopped some extra shit on my real policy.

Get a worker's comp exclusion from your state that you can throw at corporate clients who insist on a million different fricking types of insurance.
