Of course Mississippi is getting devastated. Not only is it filled with a bunch of antivaxxers, it also has the second highest obesity rate in the country. Even the nurse they interview is fat. There are going to be a lot of young landwhales dying and its going to spur a whole "young people are now at just as much risk as the elderly is dying from covid".
