Fun fact, only one or two people died from the Fukushima meltdown, because despite a catastrophic failure it was still adequately designed and made safe

Second fun fact: coal air pollution indirectly kills (or shortens the maximum life span of) more people in a year than nuclear meltdowns ever have (or ever will most likely)

Nuclear takes forever to get started and is expensive. They would have had to have started years ago for it to be effective now. The EU's not telling them to frick off because it's necessary to stop them from becoming a third world country
