Of course r/politics is too stupid to realize why the military going rogue is a bad thing.

I'm sure this is bait, but you've gotta be really r-slurred to call an implied oath "bad" compared to nukes being launched, possibly probably aimed at our own country.

There's nothing wrong with nuking California.

That brings up a seriously interesting point: where would he most likely nuke? I doubt he'd nuke Cheye-nah like the article/Miley mentioned, it would be somewhere domestic that "RIGGED!" it surely? But where?

With as many nukes as the US has you don't have to be choosey. I vote for nuking everywhere. It's the only way to be sure.

I disagree he'd do something domestically. In order to understand Trump you need to look at what he accuses others of.

He, multiple times, said Obama would start a war to stay in office, which means Trump believes a war can keep a president in office, which means he'd likely try to start shit with Iran or somewhere else on his shit list.

This doesn't even have to be nukes, firing cruise missiles at Iran would start a serious war.

Just glad Bolton wasn't around long enough to actually start a war. You could tell he was keen on Iran.

I don't really think Trump was against war with Iran. I think the military brass are the only reason we aren't at war with Iran rn.

Military officers already took an oath on what to do with enemies foreign and domestic, any officer that breaks that oath is an enemy yet Milley somehow isn't in a cell yet.

Good bait tho

Technically he is right though. You are meant to only have officers who follow questions without hesitation. The rest are not meant for the military. Not bait just pointing out the general standards.
