If BC can give out free hard drugs to addicts, why cant we give alcoholics cheap booze?
The real answer here is alcohol has been normalized in a way hard drugs have not.
It's been said alcohol is the only drug you need to apologize for not taking.
Additionally the government takes a tax cut on booze, so it's a fair point for the public to ask questions about products like this, knowing we're profiting in a way.
Remember. Booze is a drug too but since it's legal it actually needs more regulations, apparently.
