White people aren't white. Whiteness is a social construct invented by slave owning white people to differentiate between black african slaves and "white people" who owned them. Originally, people were just English, Scottish or German, but because there weren't enough of any single one group, they became white because of the need to form an alliance of oppression against enslaved africans. As a result, whiteness must be dismantled, academically speaking, perhaps even BLACKED.
