V-22 Ospreys will be mostly grounded into 2025 :marseyfacepalm:

I think :marseyoscargamble: the tilt-rotor concept has a lot of potential but this is the worst defense procurement program :marseyyarn: ever. I remember in the '90s it was already crashing and way over time and budget. It should :marseynorm: have been ready :marseyexcited: 25 fricking :marseytom: years ago and it's still not today. There  is something  deeply wrong :marseygigathonk: with our society :marseymisssize: when nobody has been executed or even sent to prison :marseymugshot: over all the money :marseygeralt: and lives :marseyblm: lost.

The Bell V-280 Valor, which is replacing the black hawk, seems to have learned a lot of hard lessons from the Osprey and is a much better aircraft. One example is only the blades tilt not the whole engine so it doesn't fry the landing deck.
