The Philadelphia-based station added that the 'practice of de-legitimizing Black voices continues today' and is concerned that any perception of accepting prepared questions will make it seem that WURD Radio is a 'mouthpiece' for the Biden administration.

The better question is how do black people monolithically support a man that was quite literally responsible for their groups higher rate of incarceration. Even before the 94 crime bill he worked with strom Thurman in the 80s to lobby Reagan from the right, for tougher drug penalties lol

Is this not there narrative? That black people as a group suffer from an unjust higher rate of incarceration due to stuff like the 94 crime bill? What am I missing here
They are afraid people will notice that they are actual literal shills for the government, if they let the government tell them what to say to the government official on their station. It is bad to be a shill and makes everyone who does it look bad so they don't like they got caught out doing it
WURD is legitimately connected to many influential members of the Black Caucus. Biden losing is bad for the supporters and what they aim to gain from any democrat being re-elected. There is a major movement right now to shift support to Harris as it's the only way to legally/legitimately possibly win over Trump now.

There's not nearly enough people in federal prison for this to be true even if he was trying.
