Aurora is mostly the fricking ghetto. Looks like they're extorting other ghetto dwellers, not running a Venezuelan CHAZ. The shit that happens in Chicago every day that nobody gives a frick about because it's in DarkieTown. They don't know if some of it is organized by the same group. All the other shit the post said is hysterical ranting. Never let a crisis go to waste, though.

The mayor is right, Venezuela does not share criminal history with the US as they don't even want to acknowledge that their failed policies have made their once wealthy country collapse. he'a saying that this isn't some new shit, these are just crooks stealing from other Venezuelans.

Asylum would typically screen for this shit but Venezuela says "eh, frick you capitalist pig"

Of note, Latin Americans also are freaking out about Venezuelan migrants, see Chile, Colombia, Mexico maybe Brazil and the growing dislike for Venecos. Venezuelans are the have increased the hooker supply 10 fold in Mexico. They're literally fricking everywhere. A lot of the foids are hot though.

Coffman acknowledged that residents of two or three apartment buildings in the city are being intimidated by a Venezuelan gang but said that Aurora Police are handling the situation and making arrests. Police said the gang's activity is "isolated."

Denver and Aurora's leaders have said for weeks that Tren de Aragua is in both cities and that police are working to determine the extent of their operations.

Denver and Aurora's leaders have said for weeks that Tren de Aragua is in both cities and that police are working to determine the extent of their operations.

On Thursday, after 24 hours of intense national media coverage, Coffman and Johnston said the exaggerated and inaccurate news coverage is creating risks and problems as their cities try to deal with the gang.

"It's overwhelming our 911 system, or our emergency call center, and so it's actually hurting our ability to respond to crime," Coffman said. "I would hope people would not do that. I think we're in some sort of environment of hysteria right now over this. It's a real issue. It's being dealt with. It's isolated."

Lol now people are seeing Venezuelans in every bush.

Coffman said not every situation involving Venezuelan people, like the large gathering during Venezuela's election, is associated with gangs.

"It wasn't organized, and it had some detrimental effects," Coffman said. "And they somehow conflate that with gang activity."

Johnston said Tren de Aragua's presence in Denver is smaller than other criminal organizations in the city.

"The threat from TDA in Denver, it's smaller than many other organized criminal networks that might have been here for decades, the ones you know, like the Bloods or the Crips or others, and so we're monitoring it closely," Johnston said.

I don't think the Mayor is a demoncarp shill, either.

A Republican, Coffman served as the U.S. representative for Colorado's 6th congressional district for five terms, as well as Secretary of State of Colorado and Colorado State Treasurer.

Shortly after winning re-election in 1990, he took an unpaid leave of absence from the statehouse during his active duty service in the Persian Gulf War, during which time he saw combat as a light armored infantry officer. He was awarded the Combat Action Ribbon after his first deployment. In 1994, he retired from the U.S. Marine Corps after 20 years of combined service in the Army, Army Reserve, Marines, and Marine Reserve. In 2006, Coffman returned to active duty in the Marines where he deployed to Iraq for combat service. Upon return from his deployment, he retired from the Marine Corps once again after a total of 22 years of military service
