This is probably a good time to push for a better deal. Boeing can't threaten to just pack up and move somewhere else. They tried doing that in South Carolina and now they've got really severe quality control issues there. It turns out that having a skilled workforce in Seattle is actually really good for the company and they should be willing to pay for it.

I don't really know much about it tbh. Oddly enough I don't think I've ever met anyone who works there.

Lmao all the airlines that bought them went right back to Boeing and Airbus. People who fly on them hear rattling sounds, it's prob a decade at most before a high profile crash happens.

If Airbus drops the ball or Boeing can't manage to get it's shit together I could see it.

Embraer has been gradually building bigger and bigger planes. They're now up to ~100 seats, where they're beginning to compete with the smaller variants of the 737 and A320. Bombardier in Canada did the same thing but they ran out of money or something and got bought by Airbus. Mitsubishi was about to start building their own in that class but gave up last year.
