That included one unnamed worker on a $400,000 salary, who said they had used their meal credits to buy household goods and groceries such as toothpaste and tea.
On the anonymous messaging platform Blind, they wrote: "On days where I would not be eating at the office, like if my husband was cooking or if I was grabbing dinner with friends, I figured I ought not to waste the dinner credit."

When I interviewed with Amazon onsite, they said they wouldn't pay for alcohol and gave me a stipend for food. I submitted a $200 receipt for dinner with alcohol thinking they would pay some of it but not the alcohol and they paid for the whole thing.
When I worked for ATT I had a corporate card and it was forbidden to put personal things on it, but I know some people did (I was young and naive and too afraid to break the rules back then lol).
My guess is that someone was letting it go and ignoring it, they left their job and someone wanting to show their totes loyalty to bootlick the megacorp narc'd them out. Frick corporations.
I have to say though that some people are pretty brazen on Blind about where they work for these FAANG companies and I'm surprised they are so open about it. I imagine if you worked there it would be easy to figure out who they are, and they often say chuddy shit or trauma dump about their sexless marriage or lonely life. How embarrassing.
