“When hundreds of experts in multiple surveys put a man in strong contention for the title of the Worst President in the Nation’s History, it says something about our respect for expertise that we decided to give the man another go,” Rachel Maddow writes. https://t.co/kepv1FMUXh

The modern left certainly loves their "experts". They really despise people coming to their own conclusions for some reason.

When the Leftoid says "expert" he basically means "priest." They certainly aren't talking about scientists doing actual science that can be peer reviewed and verified.

It's the perfect example of their use of the word "experts" too. Is there anything rigorous or scientific about president ranking "experts"? Do they make accurate predictions that have any value or utility, for instance? Are their opinions like "Orange man reminds me of Hitler" falsifiable?
Actually, that reminds me of something that I heard about some years ago. I probably will get the details wrong. But someone actually did make an attempt at studying the appeal of presidential candidates. They took Trump and Hillary speeches and tested them out with different speakers/genders delivering them to see how much impact it made.

Yeah I remember there was a video of it on YouTube. They had actors to mirror mannerisms and everything. It was looking at the supposed role of sexism and people hated dude Hillary too.

Eye-opening, reminds me of all the Dem women in my family who liked Nikki Haley for
having a vaginasome reason they could never explain.Jump in the discussion.

I agree but at the same time cringe when people bring their kids into my clinic and tell me they don't want X vaccine because they did their own research
