TLDR Russia had been sending natural gas to Europe through pipelines through Ukraine even throughout the whole war. That's apparently over now. This obviously has something to do with Trump's inauguration but I have no idea which side is doing it or why. Could be either side saying they're gonna really play hardball from now on.

Timing is just a coincidence, the contract between Ukraine and Russia expired today and ukros didn't wanted to renew it while getting bombed by ziggers so now whole Europe gets to enjoy winter at it's fullest
Westerners deserve it for relying on slavs for anything
