so from the comments, the story is that a president was elected to replace him when his term ends, but he tried to retire because then he gets to appoint someone who was unelected instead, but he wasnt allowed to retire, so he just fricking killed himself just on the off chance that they appoint someone other than the elected judge?
who tf is the elected judge and whats their story?
