I was at a funeral in a rural Alberta area, and most people hate Trump's tariffs and the carbon tax.
I switched to the Federal Conservatives, I'm very sceptical towards Carney.

Rural Manitoba is weird rn. People are still wary of the provincial PC, but they can't quite trust the Liberals have changed enough either. If Carney does poorly in the debates, or can't distance himself from the Trudeau era LPC MB could still go blue, not that it matters really.

Carney hasn't distanced enough from Trudeau's immigration policies.
If he's elected, it will probably be 4 wasted years.

Carney is less important than Gerald Butts and Katie Telford really. I'm not sure exactly where I'll park my vote but it for sure won't be Liberal. That said I'm afraid the Trumpster fire down south is going to give them another 4 years and 6 months in we'll start seeing the leopards are my face moments.
