Too high. I'd make it $26/hour ties to the local cost of living, as the new Federal minimum wage.

While seven of 14 voters said they would describe former President Trump as a threat to democracy, 10 out of 14 also said they would take the twice-impeached president back over voting for Biden again in 2024.
The economy, abortion rights and foreign policy are on the minds of the swing voters who raised concerns over Biden's age more than they did Trump's legal baggage.
Meanwhile, voters in and outside of Arab American communities said that Biden has lost voters who supported him in 2020 over his handling of the war in Gaza.
Half of the participants said they've heard from Arab or Muslim friends that "they're not going to support him."
"They're going more toward Trump than they are toward Biden," Ann N., a 68-year-old woman from Novi who identified as Arab American, told the group.

I think this guy is a bit too hard on the American investors. You just can't get anything done in a country like that without engaging in a little corruption. The Kosovars would be a lot better off getting a new power plant that cost 10% more than it should than not getting a new power plant.
Where we really went wrong is trying to make Kosovo an independent state. A tiny landlocked country can never be truly independent. It can't possibly defend itself, so American troops will be stuck there forever. And why include the Serbian populated areas along the border? If you're going to build a new state, maybe try not to have two ethnic groups that hate each other?
A century ago there would have been a much simpler and more logical solution. An international commission would go to Kosovo and draw a line through so most Serbs were in the north and most Albanians were in the south. Then it would be divided between Albania and Serbia. This way instead of having two small, weak, corrupt Albanian countries to protect we have one less small and weak Albanian country with one set of corrupt leaders to protect.
Independent Kosovo seemed like like a pretty stupid idea to me at the time and I still don't understand why it happened. The globalists who were so triumphant at the time abhorred the idea of nation states, blaming them for the world wars. Maybe in Kosovo they saw a chance to do an experiment and prove their theories. Lump together two warring ethnic groups and impose democracy and rule of law from the outside. If that was the idea, it didn't work here any better than Bosnia, Iraq, or Afghanistan.
