Ok, so wind power but less efficient.

ok so harnessing the power of super novas but less efficient

But also not requiring wind turbines.

I stg dramatards can be such redditors (derogatory) sometimes

It's more efficient to build a hundred foot tall structure out of steel, fiberglass, and concrete than to attach a pully to a tree? Or do you mean this wastes wind?

It's more efficient to generate 3 phase AC. This cannot generate 3 phase AC.

So it's wasting wind?

It's wasting copper and neodymium. Rotating generators are used for a reason, they're better.

That doesn't seem like much waste.

At any scale to be useful, it would be massively wasteful.

Because you said so? Waste is relative so without anything to compare it to or numbers you're just sperging out about some best practice as if it's the end all be all.

Who cares about efficiency if it's cool?

depends on the math is after you look at the gain in productivity bu not having build a windmill or pollute the scenery with windmills. If this is cheaper/easier to mass produce and apply it may work better overall.

Wind is caused by the movement of swaying trees. It makes sense to generate electricity directly at the source of the wind :marseybigbrain:

Only slightly more r-slurred than wind turbines. Please nobody show this to policymakers.

I was hoping he would say how many watt-hours it produced in a single day. Maybe he will in a future video, but I can't imagine that it'll be very high, which is too bad.

lol, clever. Pretty much the same thing they do with those things to make electricity from waves in the ocean
