Personally @Fresh_Start don't trust any book that is called the best book of all time that is older than a century. Either you're country is so heavily regarded that over the course of a century they couldn't write a better book. Or you are wrong about the book being something exceptional anymore.
This is why @Fresh_Start is sure without even reading it that The Illyiad and Homer's epics suck a lot because they were the peak of writing more than a thousand years ago.
