We had a conference with a bunch of the managers and nerds, and while we were waiting to start one of the bosses was talking about when he did his PhD on some gay nerd shit about the nucleus of the helium atom.
I just said,
"How Noble of you."
It was met with forced laughs and groans and even applause and I did a walk over to him for a high five.
It was terrible and I'm not proud of it but it was a literal "and everyone clapped" moment.
