I assume a compliance analyst is a dev adjacent role for verifying that WCAG accessibility is met, and possibly privacy, GDPR, security requirements as well.

It would be like legal meets QA meets full stack.

I’ve done projects in that area, but it was never my job. I’d do it as a consultant bc it’s EZ PZ once you understand what you are auditing for.

She has a Healthcare degree, she's not analyzing any frameworks lol

It's probably the same thing, except she's checking for privacy and healthcare regulation shit.

Compliance analysts often make sure that code is in compliance with things like government regulations or internal company security policies. They're part of the QA/QC (quality assurance/quality control) process. It's usually a pretty important job

No someone that did it. It was mainly sitting in meetings, and doing basic excel work from time to time. Actual decision were made above her head. Paid 120k/year and was just basic office work.

It’s says she has a healthcare degree so I assume she clicks “yes” on tickets saying they’re compliant w/r/t the various data requirement laws.

I have no clue, but for sure they are a pain in the butt and aim to frick up the way you work by adding meaningless meetings and requirements.
