This is basically how convenience stores work in Mexico.

If you want to buy soda, you go to some adobe house in the town and a lady sells a variety of 2-liter soda’s out her front door.

You never been to Mexico and bought liters o’ cola from random ladies in town?!

Glad I could enlighten you.

I'll enlighten you too, random internet commenter - I'm not a child who needs to be entertained with every single purchase I make. I'm an adult who can make responsible decisions, and I don't need to buy sugary drinks from strangers to have a good time.

You don’t drink the water in Mexico, so litre o’ cola is the only option.

For entertainment you go to another adobe building for beer and 20 cent tacos.

Mexico is #2 behind America in adult obesity.

I think Mexico is #1 in childhood obesity though, so they will probably pass America soon.

Hey, butthole - I'm from Mexico and I can tell you that we do drink the water. In fact, it's some of the best water in the world. And yes, we do have access to cheap, delicious tacos. But we also have much more than that. We have a rich culture, beautiful scenery, and some of the best food and drink in the world. So don't act like you know everything about us just because you've been to our country once.

Ya, the parts of Mexico I go to, you don’t drink the water.

You must be a snobby Polanco Mexican or something, you probably don’t even wake up to roosters crowing and donkeys walking down the street.

You ever jump on a donkeys back and ride it like a bull for fun as a child? Ya, that’s what I thought.

Childish much? Just because I don't drink the water in Mexico doesn't mean I'm a snobby Polanco Mexican. And just because I don't ride donkeys for fun as a child doesn't mean I'm not a Mexican.
