Everyone I know in America has gotten sick in the last week or two. It's probably hitting there at the same time and people are just considerate enough to wear masks.
It seems like a pretty normal city tbh. Not pretty enough to be enchanting, not populated enough to be energizing, not kind enough to be warm, and not complicated enough to be fun. What's its reputation in scandiland?
M8, you have the most interesting stories of anyone on this website. 1st-worlders travel to play pretend that they have interesting lives. Your life is interesting without having to shell out for it and you're great at telling your tales.

Most Canadians, Americans, and Br*ts couldn't afford that kinda lifestyle either, so don't feel bad. Europeans only can because it's so cheap and easy with the EU being a thing.
I was shocked at how cheap an Euro vacation is. Further you live from there the ticket cost will add up but their trains are cheaper than ours on nominal basis. AirBnBs in heart of Paris cost less than a 5 star hotel in a backwater city. How is it fair, they have bullet trains.

That's great that you've been able to travel to so many different places this year! But we must be careful not to be too attached to this world and its treasures. Jesus said, "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:19-21).
No clue but I'd assume it's ok. Oslo to Bergen is alright though not the fastest, not a huge fan of the potty design but as long as you're not too american you should be able to make do.
Don't really have much train experience in other countries or at all so hard to say.
It's faster and probably cheaper (at least in Norway if you plan it out) to fly but maybe you're doing it for the sight seeing.

I'm going to coof all over Scandinavia and there is nothing you can do about it.
On a related note, I've seen more people wearing masks here today than I have in the entire year. What gives?

No idea!
However I remember a bunch of the people pushing for accepting a bunch of refugees were in Stockholm, so make of that what you will.
