The violence fundamentally rests upon a property rights dispute that cannot be resolved other than through violence. Even if the Palestinians' income per capita matched Israel's or was 2x higher, the violence would continue. It is the way of the state to monopolize the function of government over a region.
The happenings of yesterday might be a hint as to why they need to be in an 'open air prison', and why going forward, that prison needs to be hard enough to escape that they'll not even dream of freedom anymore.
For mental consistency it should be. Hamas is the top elected party in Palestinian parliament and is a terrorist organization, therefore Palestine supporters are majority terrorists.
