every job i've had has let us dress up so i didn't bother asking, apparently we aren't allowed to for some probably gay and r-slurred reason so i was the only one in costume. if they asked me to go change i'd just say no cause i'm not letting my wagie job ruin my favorite holiday

I went to my liquor store and one of the ladies was in a full bright pink wig and "pink ladies" get up and i went to the front and said "happy halloween" to the cashier. She goes, "oh, it is halloween, isnt it?" And i said, "didnt you notice your coworker dressed up?" And she said, "she always dresses up" (she does where silly nametags etc but doesnt usually dress up). Hilarious. I hope i made an awkward midday compliment happen.
