Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, stop and think :marseyquestion: about why you think :marseyoscargamble: the way you do.

Remember that you can't read people's minds and that getting upset :marseylaptopsad: about stuff you have no evidence to believe.

For example: you mention a band or artist :marseypainter: you like to a coworker and you start assuming that the other person :marseywall: is laughing :marseyobamacope: at you and thinks you're a gay loser. STOP.

Why do you think :marseyoscargamble: they would :marseywould: think :marseymischevious: that?

Do you think :marseymindblown: that liking that makes you a gay loser?

If so why? Is it a valid :marseyliathomas: reason or just your opinion/assumptions?

If not then why would :marseymid: they think :marseymindblown: you're a gay loser?

Not to gatekeep, I would never do that. But I started CBT and everything they said was something I already thought of while being stuck in bed in constant pain for a long period. So that got terminated really fast because there was no room for improvement, which meant that the therapist can't justify their existence.

Everyone is trying to frick you and we've got a health care system with all of the downsides of the Soviet Union but we've added more.
