Still fixing and improving little things. Replaced worn inner/outer tie rods but otherwise she's been trouble free. Thanks for asking @Sandwiches.

Theories on why all European cars became complete shit after the mid 90s to early 2000s?

We stopped making them, same reason American cars became shit after like the 80s.

True, man those early volvos were tanks, now they are electronic garbage

Idk man, I rented a Polestar a few weeks ago and it was probably the closest thing resembling a real car that I've driven in a while despite all the electronic shenanigans. Could bomb it into a hairpin and it didn't throw 15 warning lights and a rev warning at you like your average 90'smobile.

And Toyotas are way better now than in the 90s bc theyre often produced in the United States now.

J-VIN Toyotas are so much better than US-produced Toyotas it isnt even funny. More reliable, less creaky, less panel gaps, better fit and finish in every possible way. There are many YouTube videos showing this. Americans cant build cars for shit, especially if theyre unionized (Toyochads are not).

AmeriKKKans cant build cars for shit

Why would Toyota build a manufacturing plant in the United States then?

Taxes, mostly. Also the Japanese import quotas that lasted into the 90s. Same reason Diamond Star Motors existed.

I thought there's some law that requires Japanese manufacturers to make their shit in the US, which is gigaluz considering US manufacturers make their shit in mexico

I think they do it to avoid having to pay a tarrif on importing the car from outside of the US.
