I found a very neurodivergent way to further improve

So I was still getting distracted by some personal stuff from time to time but have now found a very neurodivergent solution to it that works.

I remembered this post I once read on reddit about an neurodivergent woman who would thank the machines in her house after using them.

So whenever I have distracting thoughts now, I tell my mind," Please not right now. I have to focus on this other thing right now. For some reason this has seen a doubling or tripling in how fast unwanted thoughts go away." I speak to my mind as if it's an external entity that I require things from and that seems to help further improve communication and cooperation.

Let's see if it keeps working today and tomorrow and the days to come.

I am also getting good at not being overcome by hunger.

I am still terrible at handling cold.

How do you wake up early during a cold day? What's the trick?

I have gotten better at pushing myself to perform tasks. The internal seed message is working for now.

I just need to double down one more time and I should be out of my hole finally by the end of the month.

Good luck to you and good luck to me.

Good job. It's at least keeping you mindful and in control.

waking up early

Go to bed early? I watch Astrum or Drachinifel videos to go to sleep. Exercise earlier in the day really helps (as does having a job :marseyteehee:). Not being on your phone while in bed is good.

I tried going to sleep on time. I just lay there in the dark for the next 3-4 hours.

Already not on my phone during sleep.

Will try out exercising in the morning.

It really helped me find something that keeps my mind from wondering at night. Those youtube channels have been perfect for that.

Have you tried static noise? There's YouTube video you can downloads, smartphones apps, etc.

I am sensitive to noise and static doesn't work for me. I prefer trying to overcome silence.

The tism in me fights the ADHD in me.
