I was hanging out with my friend and her mom and names for children came up. I told them I liked "Shayla" as a girls name (idea came from Mr Robot) and her mom told me that was a ghetto black girl's name (which I'm somewhat inclined to believe since she's half black)
Is Shayla actually a black girl name? My future kid probably won't be half black so I don't want to name a half white half asian girl the female equivalent of "Tyrone".
