I have spent the summer in NYC with my sister & her family. At first I was like "Eww" but now I'm warming up to the idea of moving here.
The Pros: My depression gets so much better when I'm around family. It's a "fresh start" after a really hard year. I can help my sister out with her baby. It's a lot of stress and I want to support her as much as I can.
It will also get me closer to fulfilling my lifelong dream of being a fancy old lady
The cons are that it's a very expensive lifestyle. I will just barely be able to live comfortably in Manhattan. Lots of places do not accept dogs for some reason (?) Lots of Libs (so same as Chicago) and apparently men punch women on the subways.
Should FroCho bite the bullet and move:

I went camping in NY state some years ago with friends I met on CoD4 of all places. We took a train ride into the city for a day. Honestly I like Chicago more. There were just too many people in NYC for me and literally every single car I saw on the road had some sort of damage from r-slur drivers and the very split second traffic lights turned green it seemed like 10-15 cars would lay on their horns. Driving and sports cars in general are my passion so NYC would ruin that for me, but that's totally a me problem.
If you're ever feeling especially low I'm apparently excellent at therapeutic communication. From calming down the homeless drug addict sperging out who came in for "chest pain" to the normie who's terrified of getting a heart cath done in the morning where none of the doctors sat down and explained things to them like I will. My DMs are open for any advice I can give or just an ear to rant to. That offer extends to anyone reading this. I don't know if I can help but I will certainly try.
