As some of you may know I've been mighty sick since the 23rd of September. Ever since then I've been vomiting every day with the accompanying mind-bending stomach cramps, it turned out not to be a food intoxication but multiple gallstones blocked in a bile duct that eventually resulted in an infection. When I started abundantly vomiting blood and had my skin turn yellow at the beginning of October I finally went to the E.R.

It turns out it's a fairly benign procedure to get it fixed but I have a secondary chronic pathology that made things very complicated (not fatness, I'm eurothin). So I finally had my procedure Friday and have stopped vomiting, and today I finally came home and I can eat and drink again after a month .

Anyway that was the boring story but what I really wanted to say was thank you to everyone who sent me messages of support, prayers, and loving wishes of death. It bought me an incredible amount of comfort and strength during the many nights when I was bent over a bucket of puke and praying for it to stop, it also gave me faith that I wouldn't get more severely injured which was something that weighed heavily on me.

I try to keep my sincere-posting to a minimum, and I plan to keep it that way going forward, but it can't go without saying that most of you r-slurs are actually decent, kind people, under the veneer of irony and insincerity and occasional banter and bullying. I feel compelled to say it even more given Boo's post which was quite harsh. I think you people are alright and I'd take you over the vacuous wholesomeness of redditors any day of the year.

About once or twice a month I go to old Taco Bell and get a couple of Beefy Melt Burritos. It's beef, tortilla strips, a little bit of cheese and sour cream. Easy enough. I do not eat sour cream as warm non-cheese dairy product does not appeal to me. And I'm one of those r-slurs who continues to eat dairy despite my lactose intolerance, so why make it worse for something that tastes gross. It's less work to make my food with one less ingredient.

Almost exactly half of the time at least one of my burritos has FRICKING sour cream on it. And it's always a huge glob right on one of the ends, so either my first or last bite is always ruined.

If you see a headline "local man caught in the middle of the highway, manic, shirtless, frothing at the mouth and just having r*ped 6 people in a Taco Bell" it was me. I don't even care anymore. The Taco Bell wagies have earned carnal justice.

Getting everything ready for winter, the lawn tractor is being a pain in the butt again. Didn't want to start, evidence of water in the fuel system AGAIN despite using water remover, ethanol-free fuel, and stabilizer.

After much peepeeing around, finally got it to start and go into the garage to replace some other parts -- voltage rectifier, clutch spring, etc. Meant to make a project video on it but ended up not.

Came across this engine on marketplace. Nearly identical to mine, same year and plant and everything. He said the PTO bearing seized, engine stopped and threw pushrods. For parts only, $100.

Heck, a replacement genuine carb is $200 and the knockoffs don't work worth a darn, plus my ignition coils have seen a few mice in their years.

Picked it up and began tearing into it. One pushrod bent, the others are straight but fell out.

Put the straight ones back in, spun it around, and the camshaft is still good. Direct-gear so I doubt it could skip teeth without very obvious indicators.

Decided to go for broke and pulled the heads off, knowing I'd need to buy new head gaskets. No slop in the connecting rods and the bores themself looks

Despite being 10 months older than my engine, it overall looks to be in better shape. I think I just need to toss some new pushrods in (which i have spares of already) and she'll run better than my own. $50 for head gaskets sucks but isn't terrible

Thought I'd have my hoarder's mess taken care of by the time it needed replacement. It sprung a leak while I was in Detroit and have to either deal with embarrassment of a filthy clusterfrick of a house or spend the next couple days cleaning.

It's my own fault really for trusting Amazon but it was $200 less than new and I couldn't resist. The funniest thing to me is it clearly wasn't damaged in transit, it isn't damaged like it was handled roughly or dropped, it's damaged like something hit it at a high speed. There's a big circular indentation with cracks spreading out from it. They probably didn't even check it after the last person returned it before reselling it.

At least I don't have to do anything to return it for a full refund, I just have to pack it back up and leave it outside my door for them to pick up.

I have a former friend (emphasis former) that is on trial for being a fricking gross libertarian. I've been keeping up with his docket and so far his arraignment has been pushed back twice. Could anyone with a law background explain how this happens? I thought an arraignment is supposed to happen right away after arrest. He's in Texas if that matters.
