Well worth cosying up to her, his big mistake was to try and stiff his wife on the money, which as a divorce lawyer he should have known better: of course she's gonna be furious he was stepping out on her and dumped her for this woman, of course she's gonna spill all the dirty laundry in public to get revenge.
