The unemployment numbers are known to be a bit nonsensical. They only account for folx working / looking for work.
https://www.cnet.com/personal-finance/low-unemployment-statistics-are-misleading-economic-hardship-is-much-worse
Is cnet a known rightoid site? Idk but i can find something different if it is biased.

Actually from the same thing you linked, you can see that U-6 and LISEP are all trending downwards as well:
It's true that there is a larger pool of "discouraged" workers who aren't counted in the U-3 headline number, but that's always the case, and even if you look at those other numbers, they're improving too.
Put another way, it's not the case that the "official" unemployment figure is only declining because people are giving up looking for work.

I think CNET is reasonably neutral. This is interesting because I've seen some other things claiming the opposite: that the job market is so strong people who had previously given up looking for work were actually returning to the market. I'll see if I can find a decent source.

You realize a giant portion of many industries scaled back during COVID and and moved full time workers to part time so they could collect that $600 a week unemployment stimulus. Does your wages chart factor that in?
Keep in mind it was Democrats who orchestrated closing down the entire country so they don't get to take credit when opening it back up and letting people work again.

can any smart economists explain why growth and employment went way down in 2020, then went way up afterwards? I'm no expert but looking at these, we can't elect trump and risk him repeating that early 2020, but if we reelect biden we might get another 2021!
also, does inflation have any impact on the worth of wage growth? I've heard a lot about inflation in the news recently, just wondering if it's better to have 5% wage growth with 6% inflation or 2% inflation, thanks for any advice on the matter

wait, honestly I still don't get it, why are you getting into arguments and posting graphs about the US economy in response to biden's polling numbers if he can't be blamed (positively or negatively) for the state of the economy?
