Neighbor the guy is not in office. Hes not the president. Quite literally the argument the republicans made was they didnt need to impeach him as the legal system could hold him accountable.
You misunderstand - repubicans argued he didn't need to be impeached for what he did in 2020 as the legal system would hold him accountable when he was out of office. Now the argument is "he can totally be impeached for that" lmao. they're creating a scenario in which there is no way to ever hold him accountable for anything at all.
Every judge is biased against him (even the ones he himself appointed, apparently.)
Every DA is biased against him.
every state is biased against him.
every media outlet is biased against him (even right-wing media, apparently.)
biden is literally claiming that he raised social security benefits for seniors the most in decades because SS benefits have been indexed to inflation since 1972, and he's seen the highest rise of inflation under his watch in decades, he's literally taking bad shit that happened under his watch and trying to pass it off as policy victories
Two geriatric, demented 80 year olds are running for president and your concern is that people might be making unfair comparisons between a right wing Washington dinosaur and a far right megalomaniac? Lmao, you neolibs are something else. This is the natural result of lesser-evilism, you reap what you sow.
>And frankly i dont care about free elections anymore
That's the most baffling thing about McCaskill's complaint. The New York Times spends far more time criticizing Republicans than Democrats and far more time praising Democrats than Republicans, but that's still not enough for her. In her mind, if a media outlet criticizes a Democrat or Democrats, even a little, it means they're in the tank for the GOP.
We saw the same thing recently with Jon Stewart's return to The Daily Show. One bad word about Biden, and the people that had been clamoring for his thoughts on the current situation turned on him. @pizzashill and his ilk (white women) can complain about "the illusion of both sides" 'til they're blue in the face, but this particular brand of cult-like thinking really is ubiquitous among wingcucks.

Shes calling them out for doing the same thing they did in 2016. That is, trying to create a horse race and the illusion of both sides.
Every time trump opens his mouth he lies, but the media is more interested in going after shit biden says even when biden isnt technically wrong.

Idk what Im supposed to respond to here. Your argument amounts to "the president is above the law."
I disagree and most of societu probly disagrees.
If attempted election theft is not a serious enough crime, nothing is.

@J never said hes above the law. Hes not beneath the law either.
The president can be impeached and if he's impeached and convicted then his immunity no longer exists.
Its in the text of constitution and reinforced by Marbury vs Madison. Article three courts cant sit in judgment over a president.
How you feel about the law means nothing unless you work too change that law. If the majority of society agrees with you it wont be hard too do.
Is you're claim no one is above the law?

@J narrowed down you're specific question at the outset too his acts involving the Georgia election. That was during his time in office.
Are you trying too argue that no one is above the law?

Do you? The argument against impeachment is consistent. Its an extreme remedy and really the only one who deserved it was nixon.
Whats you're opinion of jidge cannon?
Whats you're opinion of fani willis?
Whats you're opinion of the 22 states that files in support of him?

if you are only allowed to criticize one side when they lie and have to ignore the other sides lie then you dont truly have free and fair elections

Its not that, its that one of them is 50x worse and they try to create the illusion that theyre actually similar.
And frankly i dont care about free elections anymore, as the GOP blatantly tried to steal the last one.

Lmao yes, clearly joe biden is responsible for inflation.
Genuinely how could you possibly think this?

how is your reading comprehension this bad?

my point is what he said was not technically incorrect, it's literally just standard political bullshit, it isn;t an outright lie.
You quite literally said :"under his watch" r-slur. Do you not speak english or what?
Do you want a free lesson on what ""under his watch" implies?

it is a lie, he did not raise SS the most in decades unless he also raised inflation the most in decades
Biden responsible for inflation -> Biden responsible for SS raises (but only because its mandated by Nixon's 1972 law)
Biden not responsible for inflation -> Biden not responsible for SS raises
logic isn't that hard

I don't think Biden did this, I think he's just being misleading. It's misleading, it isn't an outright lie.
benefits did in fact go up the most ever, the context is being left out.
This isn't the same as an outright lie.

Yes, just like they did with clinton.
It has been empirically proven they covered her emails and scandals more than her policy and covered trump on policy more.
