Why do conservatives think that Judge Merchan has a conflict of interest, but Clarence Thomas doesn't? : AskTrumpSupporters

I don't get the whole Clarence Thomas is biased because some billionaire gives him money. That line of argument somehow implies that Thomas would be ruling differently but for the gibs. Which if you read any of his jurisprudence, you'll realize that he's been incredibly consistent in his rulings and philosophy as long as he has been on the court.

The only way this argument makes any sense is that if you assume that all are naturally good liberal drones, and the only way one deviates from that path is through bribery. Which to me is racist as all get out, assuming that a certain group of people should be monolithic in thought.
