If I had to guess, the last 72 hours are a sign that the tech oligarchs cannot survive in the rightist camp. They will drift back eventually. Whether it happens slowly or if the GOP will jettison them by force, I don't know and will not hazard a guess. I'm still pretty sure Musk's shadow president routine will eventually result in his destruction and imprisonment, so that might hasten the return.
