I have no idea. Who the frick cares about the ERA? My mom was a feminist back in the boomer days when that was actually needed. She never mentioned the ERA to me ever in my entire life. Maybe it's because the battle was already won and her daughters could grow up as equals with moids.
So I'm guessing this is young "activists" who've spent too much time reading the encyclopedia. If you're a feminist activist in 2025 in America you desperately need something to do to justify your existence.

The funniest thing was, as Nate Silver pointed out, that Biden didn't actually do anything. The activists wanted him to order the archivist woman to officially publish the amendment (and then it would be challenged in court and so on). Instead Biden just tweeted his opinion. Lol.
