/u/thinkB4wespeeak is right, the US should harden the border, increase inspections, and build a wall to intervene in illegal arma shipments across the border. Or is they suggesting a full blown military intervention/incursion into mexico so that the US can stop the cartels from illegally shipping firearms across the border? This is an actual issue in Canada and IMO the only reason Trudeau didn't use it as leverage is the path by which guns cross the border.
