r/politics is :marseycope: that the average burger liked Trump's Congress speech :soyjaktantrum:

I think many Dems didn't watch it. I didn't. I'm just watching the recap. That said, if the polls are true, our country is full of gullible idiots who don't know they're being lied to.

They literally have a poll in it saying it's mostly Republicans / independents watching

I wanted to add more quotes, but this here is the whole comment section :marseyshrug:

A large majority of speech watchers approved of what they heard from President Trump's joint address to Congress Tuesday night.

The viewership was heavily Republican — historically a president's party draws more of their own partisans. This was no exception, and they liked what they heard

It was a majority of speech watchers not a majority of burgers. Is there anyone left that reads the whole article?

Isn't the average burger farther right than the average CBS watcher?

CBS viewership skews heavily boomer (55+). Overall their viewers are also fairly center-right, moreso than most other networks except Fox.

they have local affiliate stations that aren't as biased :marseybiast: as the national :marseyatgunpoint: ones. my city's mayor :marseybuttigieg: is a centrist :marseygrilling: (endorsed by republicans) who used to run a station :marseygreytide: that is an NBC affiliate.
