If it's so insignificant then "letting up" should never have been and should not be the struggle session it was and is.
The most r-slurred recent change that started after the US election is the pretence at "It never happened" that some "nonchuds" are going for.
Anyway it's not the chud fueled refutation of liberal existance that drove a lot of the recent shitlib electoral and policy losses but a bad and oft self-inflicted worldwide economic situation so the doom and gloom is annoying too.
